Reactive Study for the California-Oregon Transmission Project

The Transmission Agency of Northern California (TANC) is a Joint Powers Agency. TANC’s current Membership includes 15 publicly-owned utilities in the cities of Alameda, Biggs, Gridley, Healdsburg, Lodi, Lompoc, Palo Alto, Redding, Roseville, Santa Clara, and Ukiah, as well as the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, the Modesto Irrigation District and the Turlock Irrigation District. The Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative is an Associate Member. Along with the TANC Members, the California-Oregon Transmission Project (COTP) Participants include San Juan Water District, Carmichael Water District, the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) and the Pacific Gas and Electric Company. TANC is the majority owner and Project Manager for the COTP.

TANC, as the Project Manager for the COTP, is soliciting proposals for the Completion of a Reactive Study for the California-Oregon Transmission Project. This Request for Proposals (RFP) provides instructions to contractors for submitting proposals and establishes terms and conditions under which TANC will contract for such services.
